JUNE BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
FARM BUREAU FINANCIAL SERVICES

More than 75 years ago, Farm Bureau was founded to help
meet the unique insurance needs of farmers. Today, they’ve
grown to serve people from all walks of life: rural, urban and
in-between, however, their commitment to helping you protect
what matters the most has always remained the same. They are
committed to protecting your livelihood and future.

Josh Barnett, here at the Osawatomie office, grew up in Miami County and has been a
resident here for most of his life. He graduated from Paola High School in 1996. He
then attended Emporia State University and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor’s
degree. He met his wife, Liz, at Emporia State and they were married in 2001.

In 2009, after he and Liz had started their family, they moved to their current home just east of Osawatomie and have resided there ever since. They have 3 daughters, Kylee, Libby and Macy.

Josh has been with Farm Bureau Financial Services since 2014. He has been the Osawatomie servicing agent since 2016. His current staff consists of Rita Schlesener and Laurie Waggoner, who have both worked for Farm Bureau for over 25 years now!

At Farm Bureau Financial Services, they’re about more than insurance, more than products, more than the bricks and mortar that make up their buildings. They’re
about you – your family, your home, your future.

Special for the Month:

Farm Bureau Financial Services will be hosting a coffee at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12th at their office (560 Main Street). Please show your support by attending this coffee. This is a great way to get to know Josh, Rita and Laurie and a great way to visit with other businesses! Your support for their business is appreciated
