2018 Osawatomie Winter Bazaar Schedule

Be sure to prepare you and your family for a most Magical Event on Saturday, December 1st here in Osawatomie as we kick off the holidays season with our Winter Bazaar. Keep in mind when you show up to remember the MAGIC you once knew, to bring those WARM MEMORIES that still melt your heart and to enjoy each and every moment of this FANTASTICALLY fun day with a Child’s Heart.  

 The schedule listed below is an all day event geared for families, kids, shoppers 
and for those who believe...

CITY AUDITORIUM:

7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. - Rotary Pancake Feed & Miami County Silent Auction

Rotary Pancake Feed - $5.00 for Adults and $3.00 for kids ages 3-12
and all proceeds benefit the OHS Scholarship Fund

Rotary Lego Contest (7:00, 8:00, 9:00 & 10:00 a.m. - Cash Prizes awarded at the End)

Band of Oz (9:00 a.m.)

Chamber Coloring Contest for ages K-5th Grade (will also available at the 
Loft on Sixth - ONE entry per Child)

Drawings for a chance to win a Holiday Giveaways also available (7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.)
Area Businesses will also be having drawings at their place of business that day* 


THE LOFT ON SIXTH:

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Holiday Vendors
Need Some Last Minute Gift Ideas? Stop in and check out a wide variety of 
Vendors and wrap up your Christmas Shopping!

Drawings for a chance to win a Holiday Giveaways also available!

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - OZ Fire Wives Lunch
Osawatomie Fire Department Wives will be selling a variety of 
Yummy Winter Comfort Foods

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - Osawatomie PIE Kid’s Paint Party 
$10.00 per child and all proceeds benefit Osawatomie Partners in Education

10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Kid’s Crafts provided by the Chamber
Holiday Fun Crafts for Kids of All Ages
Chamber Coloring Contest for ages K-5th (One Entry Per Child)

12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Pictures with Santa
$10.00 Per Picture - All Proceeds Benefit Osawatomie Partners in Education


2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Polar Express Showing
Enjoy a Showing of the Polar Express in your Pajamas! Feel free to bring your 
Blankets & Pillows!
Hot Cocoa & Goodies will also be served 

2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Smokin Babes BBQ  
Come and enjoy some award winning BBQ and Sides for Under $10.  
Their Food Truck will be located just outside of the Loft on Sixth


CITY AUDITORIUM:

4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. - Paola School of Dance
Come enjoy a performance by these Pint Sized Holiday Dancers!

5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Mayor’s Tree/Downtown Lighting & Band of Oz
The Citizen of the Year will light up the tree and Downtown Osawatomie
Hot Cocoa & Cookies will also be available

6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Sleigh Rides down Main Street
Enjoy the lights of Main Street on a Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride


THE LOFT ON SIXTH:

7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. -  The Fire & Ice Ball and Winter Wonderland Dance
This is a Semi Formal Event
Fire & Ice Ball complete with a Live Jazz Band, Appetizers & 
Cash Bar will be Upstairs for Grown Ups
 ($4.00 Cover Charge for Single/$8.00 Cover Charge for Couple)

Winter Wonderland Dance for the Kiddies Downstairs, complete 
with Supervision (No Charge)


JOHN BROWN PARK:

7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. - Christmas at the Adair Cabin
Stop by the Cabin for an Old Fashioned Christmas
Santa will also be available for Pictures
