Business of the Month - Dengel & Son Mortuary - Crematory
Grandfather (Louis), father (Walt), and now son (Craig), the Dengel family has served families in the funeral profession since 1947. Louis Dengel, the founder of our family funeral home, purchased the McVey Mortuary in Ottawa, Kansas. The name remains appropriate today since Walter's son, Craig, joined his father in business after graduating from college in 1983. Louis had died 10 years earlier. Today, Dengel and Son Mortuary is owned and operated by third generation, Craig Dengel. Craig took over the reins when his father, Walter, stepped down in 1998 Read more here.
