Kissing Frogs Boutique
Kissing Frogs Boutique is located at 560 Main, Suite 100 and is filled with many handmade items for girls.
Owner Amy Atwood shared the story of how she got started. When her daughter, Charlea, was born she wanted a tutu for her to wear in her picture. However, she had a hard time finding a store that sold them that small, or that were affordable, so an idea was born and she made her own. Shortly after, other people began ordering from Amy and it has just snowballed from there.
She's had a website for some time and has sold items to all 50 states and 4 foreign countries. All of her tutus are hand made and can be ordered in just about any size and/or color.
Her items are a hit with celebrity clients such as Scott Baio. She makes tutus quarterly for the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation.
Opening a store on Main Street has been on her mind for quite awhile. Especially since as her business grew, the space it took up in her house did too! When her current location became available for rent (2 doors down from her in-laws at Cow Palace), it just seemed like the right time to give it a try. She officially opened her doors in April and feels that the last four months have been quite a success.
She carries many items, everything from necklaces, and decorated flip flops to flowered hair accessories and tutus. She's also a consultant for thirty-one and has those catalogs available in her shop.
