The Osawatomie City Lake is a serene spot for fishing and nonmotorized watercraft, located 3 1/2 miles northwest of Osawatomie. Fishermen are always excited for snagging season because Osawatomie boasts one of the only spots for paddlefishing in Kansas, March 15 through May 15.

 

The 75-acre recreational area provides a shelter house, picnic areas, playground equipment and six electrical hookups for campers.​​
