Pop’s RV Park is a full service RV Park located on the south end of 6th Street. It is a modest, utilitarian choice if you're rolling through Osawatomie needing a place to rest with essential hookups. Amenities include water, electric (50 amp), sewer. The friendly owner and pet-friendly policy are definite pluses.

The City of Osawatomie has various options for camping within the city limits and at the City Lake
A permit is required for overnight camping at the John Brown Memorial Park or Osawatomie City Lake. To get a permit please contact (913) 755-2146 ext.100 or stop by the City's Utilities Office at 509 5th Street. The following information will be required: name, drivers license, address, vehicle license # and description, where you are wanting to stay and how many days. For after-hours camping permits, please visit the Osawatomie Police Station at 105 E Main Street.
John Brown Memorial Park

The park hosts playground equipment, shelter houses, picnic tables, grills, restrooms, and plenty of open area for various recreation activities. The camping area is located in the northeast area of the park and has 35 spaces including 10 electrical hookups. A dump station is located next to the restroom facility.
Osawatomie City Lake

The 75-acre recreational area provides a shelter house, picnic areas, playground equipment and 6 electrical hookups for campers.
Mile Zero Trailhead
1400 South Street
Primitive campsites are available for no fee at the trailhead on a first-come, first-served basis. Currently only tent camping is allowed and reservations are not allowed. Each campsite can accommodate up to two (2) tents. Please check-in when you arrive by scanning the QR code at the campsite or by filling out the online form. The campsites are numbered, and occupied campsites are marked on-site.
